Lost
I looked in the mirror today -
Only I didn't see me.
I looked back at someone,
who I've become to be.
I couldn't detect the sunlight in my hair,
It was just grey, with this agonizing glare.
My eyes lost their identifiable glimmer,
they were just brown. Their light was dimmer.
And my smile.
It was wandering astray,
in this hell I call myself,
soon to lose its way.

- I've been told that I am a pessimistic optimist who looks at the worst first but sees the hope always. I'm extremely dichotomous and ridiculously prejudiced. I love laughing though I never get the joke. I love watching the leaves dancing on the trees in the breeze, the clouds roll by through a deep blue sky and the stars twinkle at night. I am governed by the moon. I was dropped off, left under a rock in the New Mexico desert one dark night by the mother ship and I am anxiously awaiting my ride home - whatever planet that may be. The curious thing - my friends all agree.

You need to let yourself look through the eyes of love because what I see is a very caring beautiful person who lights up when they smile and makes people want to be in there glow. I always feel lucky that you picked me to be your BFF.
